Dell Automation Platform, a singular software orchestration platform that combines Dell’s infrastructure with advanced automation to deliver simplified IT operations, is generally available. Previously introduced at Dell Technologies World, the platform is designed to deliver an intuitive experience that centralizes delivery, management, and orchestration of solutions across AI, private cloud, and edge environments, such as Dell NativeEdge and Dell Private Cloud.  Available for both on-premises and SaaS deployment, the platform provides users with a curated catalog of outcomes and solutions that have been validated by Dell's experts. These offerings are supported by a global supply chain, ensuring consistent deployments and uninterrupted updates. The platform also includes full lifecycle management, native IT service management (ITSM) integration, and advanced multisystem storage management features, such as an automated update process for Dell PowerStore OS.

 

We see Dell taking advantage of an AIOps market poised for significant growth primarily because the sheer complexity of modern IT environments has made traditional management methods unsustainable. Beyond the initial setup, the system ensures continuous validation through automated, pre-validated updates, backed by extensive testing. 

 The Dell Private Cloud software subscription is also fully transferable between nodes, allowing for the reuse of compute and storage resources and protecting customer investments. Customers can use their own cloud OS licenses and leverage familiar tools like vCenter and OpenShift Console, ensuring continuity and efficiency without the need for retraining.

 

As such, we see Dell as well-positioned to drive enterprise decision making as the private cloud market is experiencing robust growth driven by a convergence of business demands for enhanced security, greater control, and predictable costs. Valued at over $140 billion in 2024, the market is projected to reach over $1.1 trillion by 2032, demonstrating a significant compound annual growth rate.

Unlike a single, centralized data center, a distributed model expands a company's attack surface, making it more difficult to enforce consistent security policies and protect against cyber threats. 

It is often impractical to have dedicated IT staff at every remote location, which leads to a heavy reliance on manual processes for everything from software updates to troubleshooting.
